Judith Kerr & Domino Cat

I went to the Museum of Childhood yesterday to see the Judith Kerr exhibition. I was reminded of how much I loved her picture books as a child. Especially Mog. I now find myself drawing cats at every chance I can.

Here is a sneak preview of the next Wedding invitation I am designing for Jo and Geoff. This is a rough sketch of their cat Domino. It will be a spot illustration on the back of the Invitation card. Sneaky cats get everywhere.

Wedding Season begins

I was delighted last friday when Sally and Matt asked me to design their Wedding invitation. Their brief was to make the illustration 'simple and sketchy and a little bit joyful', to include some birds and balloons & to get the design to them as soon as possible...

This is the last draft (details have been changed for my Blog), approved today!

Good Luck Sally & Matt for your Wedding & beyond...

Save the date

Well, actually I've removed the date for Mark's privacy but here is a recent commission for a 40th Birthday Party. Invitation will follow in the style of an old fashioned theatre ticket, I think... Watch this space!

Pen & ink on watercolour paper.

Long time, no posting...

We moved house November last year. Is that a good enough excuse for not posting any artwork for a while?
